Get Rid Of The Advertisements

IF SOME THINGS WERE UP TO ME

I see the broken looking glass,
With mem'ries from the past...
Ensconced in corners sharp and cold,
Where pain and joy both last.

It's all a part of life you see,
There's nothing we can do...
To make each day a day of bliss,
For me and all of you.

But if some things were up to me,
I'd ban each day from lies...
And quickly dry the salty tears,
Of anyone who cries!

I'd give to all the chance to be,
A hero for their times...
And slant the story easily
So all the lines would rhyme!
