I Carry Her Within My Heart

Although now departed I know I don't have to look far to see the beautiful smiling face of my mother.
In golden frame 5x7 ebony hair with steaks of gray ( all of what she truly earned) adorn her fair complexion. Eyes (1 emerald isle green the other deep brown) was just one of her always talked about characteristics.
In passing I sometimes just stop and gaze into those warm eyes and if I really listen I can hear her voice, her laughter, and feel her love. Mom has a special place where her picture resides on the living room wall, but the place she holds within my heart I carry with me every place I go.
