Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Winters' Approach

the ground is not yet frozen, nor has snow begun
to fall,
the air is chill and silent, as it hearkens to the
call,
winter's round the corner sure, of that there is no
doubt,
we wait for snow and blustery cold, upon us for to
rout.

even the rain now lacks its' warmth, a sign that
winter's near,
the drops are cold and very damp, they settle in right
here ;
cold rain is worse than snow, it goes right to the
bone,
winter's coming all too soon, with its' stark and frigid
tone.

winters' bite will soon be felt, its' freezing ways and
force,
all too soon the snow will fly, there'll be no other
course ;
but to let the winter have her way, make us cold
and drear,
live within her chilling world, transforming all that's
here.
