Get Rid Of The Advertisements

The group is gathered round by round,
To write and chat and hear by sound.
The room lies silent as they write...
With pages rumpled in their sight.

The words lie silent on the page,
Until they stop to share the sage
Of writing wisdom round about...
Before it rises with its clout.

The solitary writing world
Is seldom splayed or there unfurled
With secret nights and lonely hearts...
The writers' message to impart.

So if you need a friend to talk
Or someone who can walk your walk,
Do not a writer seek to be...
Or disappointment you will see.
