FAME

Fame doesn't fulfill you.
Doesn't the fame make you feel good.
Fulfill is a different story.
You feel good now but when it's gone how do you feel?

It warms you up a bit.
Warms you but how long?
You lost your fame. What now?
A little bit of sadness,
Bit of, I told you so.

But that warmth is temporary.
That humanness last only a little while.
Warmth is in knowing Jesus, our Saviour,
Is the One Who can give us eternal life.
Temporary are worldly goods. His last forever.

''Fame doesn't fulfill you.
It warms you a bit,
but that warmth is temporary.''

Marilyn Monroe
