The Woman I Adore And St. Johns Home
I would like to share with you a write in rhyme
And YES dear friends it's true
About the wonderful giving mom I had
And what at Christmas time she every year would do

She'd buy presents for the boys and girls
That were some 35 miles away
And each had a gift to open come the morn of Christmas Day

The Sisters Of Mercy ran the orphanage
Where the presents were delivered
Mom trugged through the snow
Though cold and damp she shivered

She did this until God had to take a leg
And the days of her doing this were no more
This was my mom, a saint on earth
And the woman I adore

Dedicated to my Mom I love you Mama and miss you so much. Your Jacaree
