Descending Memories

Memories...
whether we acknowledged them
or give them an invitation, they arrive
Unannounced...
Unplanned...
Pure...
Untouched...
Until they begin their journey...
Within our hearts...
Our souls...
and their final destination...
Our eyes which release them...
To be free... No longer trapped
How can one grasp and accept...
A major loss, an emptiness
Where do we turn and how...
When memories simply descend and fade

Challenge... Simplicity

Hostess: Myyyyyyra

Phrase: when memories simply descend and fade
