Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Last Breath

Just a few more breaths to take
Each one welcoming death’s shade
Each gasp letting death’s grasp clamp to the very life we made
Each rise and fall of the chest test our existence with a grade
Each bellow of air seems to be the fare we paid
Just a few more breaths to take when memories start to fade
4 breaths left,
College was a waste of time
3 breaths left
Should’ve gave them my last dime
2 breaths left
Slowly close my eyes while listening to the lies, “you’ll be fine
Last breath left
