River walk

Standing alone she loved a sunset as memories remained
down on the shoreline where she saw a hurricane
but those old days that she spent with him... came drifting on a breeze
snippets here and there of pictures. bless-ed memories such as these...

Fireworks that filled the sky ... when he held her on that night
When she whispered that she loved him with... forever on her mind
When babies came and baseball games and listening to the sound
of wind blowing through the tree that stood, when the maple dream was found...

She grabbed a slice of happy, when she had the chance
he counted stepping time ... to the boot scootin' boogie dance
orange blossom visiting sends back... the smell of love in tunes....
canned apricots, long river walks, wild summer violet blooms

Fireworks that filled the sky ... when he held her on that night
When she whispered that she loved him with... forever on her mind
When babies came and baseball games and listening to the sound
of wind blowing through the tree that stood when the maple dream was found
