Dungeons Of War

What awaits in the darkness
before the towers of the east
and
breaks
upon a
heavenly
haze filled orange
dawn hauntingly
angelic but still
is
burning on
my black wings
and stands like a
canker sore upon
the evening sun

I breathe the sulfur
of dragons
and know the wisdom
of death's realms
all to well

If you look deep
into the caverns
of my hallow
eyes
you will see the
evil of my
father's sins
now
on display

The silver puzzle
stands before one
on this cold
dank world
and locks mankind
away in its dungeons
of war
