Get Rid Of The Advertisements

BROKEN MARRIAGE

I SIT HERE THINKING ABOUT WHAT COULD OF BEEN
IF THINGS WOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT
BETWEEN US THAT STARRY NIGHT
WE HAVE BOTH GROWN APART.

YOU HAVE TAKEN ON ANOTHER AS I HAVE KEPT TO YOU
SO MANY FORWARNED ME ABOUT YOU
BUT I WAS BEINGING STUBBORN
WANTING TO NOT LISTEN AND BELIEVE THEM.

I COULD NOT GET PAST THE OUTTER SHELL OF YOU
UNTIL THE ONE NIGHT THAT IT HAPPENED
YOU HAD BROUHT HER TO THE HOUSE
FED HER OUR FOOD.

GAVE HER MY FAVORITE PERFUME
GAVE HER MY FAVORITE CUP
TO DRINK OUR FAVORITE WINE
AS YOU WINE AND DINE HER IN OUR HOUSE.

YOU GO TO OUR BED AND ASK HER TO PUT MY FAVORITE NIGHTGOWN ON
NOT KNOWING WHEN TO EXPCT ME HOME
YOU HAVE SAID ALL OF THE STUFF THAT YOU SAY TO ME TO HER
AND WON HER OVER.

JUST AS YOU THOUHT IT WOULD BE SAFE I WALK IN TO THE ROOM
CATCHING YOU AND HER IN THE ACT
IN THE ACT OF BREAKING YOUR VOWS
TO SEE YOU TWO DO THAT HAS BROKEN ME IN HALF.
