Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Let Me Pretend

We'd walk along the riverside,
Hand in hand we'd go along.
Sometimes we'd gather driftwood
And enjoy the wild birds song.
We'd pick the violets hiding there
From every rocky space.
We were a carefree happy pair.
It was our favorite place.
I go back there now and then
When I'm feeling blue.
Sometimes I let myself pretend
I'm walking again with you.
