Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Mistral.

Cast your thoughts to the wind
As you wander the land,
And if they return
Then you might understand
That each thought needs a harbour
To rest for a while,
Like the refuge of calm
In the depths of your smile.

Let the night scent your hair
With the perfume of shade,
Let it braid you with shadows
Of purple brocade,
Let it dance in the dust
Of a long ago song,
So that you will recall
Where you used to belong.

As the minutes blow down
Like the leaves from your tree,
And their green turns to gold
As they whisper to me,
With such endless regret
Each long hour was made,
For my dream only lasts
Until night starts to fade.

Let your image dance on
Through the heartbeat of time,
Let me sing you a song
Let me write you a rhyme,
Let me wander with you
Through a lark painted sky,
As the turn of the eve
Bids a gentle goodbye…
