Lost With You

I want to be lost,
I want to be lost in your truths and not your lies
In your future and not your past
In your actions and not your empty promises
In your thoughts and not your blank expressions
I just want to be lost with you

I just want to be lost in the smell of you
To hide in your shadow,
To be wrapped in your silhouette
When the world starts to yell,
I want to find silence in your arms
When life begins to shake everything to the roots
I want to find solace in your arms
When the ship is going down,
When the gas runs out
Even when the last train to safety has left the station.
I want to find salvation in your arms

You are the make-shift tent beside the bed in the middle of the night
You are the blanket that I never want to far from me

Every second since you found me,
I have only wanted to be
Helplessly,
Deeply
Freely
Lost in you
