Get Rid Of The Advertisements

It Sits Waiting Patiently

It sits waiting patiently
On every book and shelf.
It defies and multiplies,
In spite of it's own self.
And, I, it's undaunted conqueror
Seek out it's every source.
And armed with feathered wand
I chart my weekly course.
On lights and tables, window sills,
Under beds, on winding stairs.
The spinet in the hallway.
On the arms and legs of chairs.
Not a speck eludes me.
This promise you can trust.
And for one shining moment,
We are free of dust.
