Starliters

Each starlite, so bright, I'm thinking of all you starliters tonight.
We have shared walks through the park and a sunset before
Dark. And for that first cup of coffee before dawn, we
Rise early in the morn while waiting for a sunrise.

We have shared a walkway through life's journey,
Even been to the moon and back, with out
Reaching a destination.

The journey brought us to valleys and where there were
Valleys, there were mountains to climb. We helped
Each other walk through the valleys and we
Climbed the highest mountains together,
While still at our computers.

We did it all through our poetry and as starliters, we became
Best friends. Though we're miles apart, we wrap around
Each others hearts with soft spoken words.

Forgot to mention a walk in the warm soft rain with
The sun peeking through and the excitement of
Sharing a rainbow with you.

And how about the starliters that are just over the rainbow
Sending wings of love for me and you.
