Get Rid Of The Advertisements

I walked in the woods
The wind was bitter and cold,
The branches of the trees
Waved to me and shouted
Get out of here if you want
To live to be old.
Just then a branch snapped
And came falling down
Just missing my head,
I was afeared for my life
In those seconds moments
I could have been killed dead.
I ran out of those woods
As ever fast as I could,
Still in shock and shivering
Like any normal person would.
I have walked those woods
For many a year
But on this day I cried.
I could have been snuffed out
In seconds, but thank the Lord
I'm still here to tell the tale.
In our daily lives
We just take things for granted
Including mother nature's
Angry might and gale.
