Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Up On His Mountain

Oh how he loved Mount Rainier
The trails, the snow peaks and flowers
We would go for just a quick, short walk
But we would stay for hours and hours

Up on the mountain was his favorite place
His brown eyes would shine ever so bright
Before we knew it, the day was gone
And we were hiking out in the night

We spent summer days hiking the trails
Praising God for all He had done
Until he became to weak to go on
Then in a moment, his life was gone

On top of the mountain he wants to be
The place he has always loved
His chosen place to rest peacefully
Till he goes to his home up above

His ashes will fly in the mountain breeze
Being scattered from here to there
A smile will spread across my face
Knowing that he is so happy there
