The Weeping Willow
O' weeping willow, my tearful one remain;
your somberness is like the night without stars,
lifeless, dark, and plain.
Do you have anyone else to blame?
Perhaps you pushes true love aside,
leaving bitterness and scars?
Or maybe you lost a friend who was there,
your limbs forever bleak with rot, agony, and despair?
In the twilight your tearful regrets left unspoken,
living a life that will forever be broken.
Feeling nothing but sadness and pain,
reaching up to heaven, and finally accepting the rain;

O' weeping willow, my tearful one retreat,
and hang your fragile boughs in silent defeat.
