Where Prayer Meets Death

Some went as they did everyday
A part of their routine
Others worshiped for a need
At the mosque where they convened

But as they spoke to God in prayer
An unknown terror they soon faced
Bullets riddled through the air
As folks scrambled from this place

Many bodies were found dead
Many were rushed into surgery
Families holding onto hope
Of which there is no guarantee

Tonight please join with me in prayer
That the evils in this life do cease
And people are able to pray to God
Not in any fear, but only solemn peace

Dedicated to each individual hurt, killed,or maimed, and their family members in the recent Mosque killings in New Zealand.
WE ARE ONE FAMILY UNDER GOD!
