MEMORIES

In my unforgettable memories,
I remember when you were born.
I remember changing your diaper,
A smell I never will forget as long as I live.

But you are one present God gave me,
I will forever be happy through all eternity.
He made a happy father in me.
I will cherish and love you eternally.

Your mother and I had some trying times.
It got so bad she left me to go her separate way.
I never stop loving her till this very day.
I ask the Lord's forgiveness for me and her both.

We gave in to the devil's view of things.
It'd never happened if I'd done what I ought.
