Get Rid Of The Advertisements

I stole it,
As you may have guessed.
Naturally, no one would
Part with it upon request.
I sometimes felt a few
Had more than their share,
So, I took some for myself
In hopes they wouldn’t care.
From the first, I took no more
Than the wee glow that gave light.
Then a touch from elsewhere
Until the glow became bright.
I don’t have a flaming torch
But, the glow suits me just fine.
The bits of glow I borrowed
Balanced out a need of mine.
Sometimes the pilot light
Of happiness goes dim.
Now, I can once more feel
A mood that is far less grim.
Those happy enough
To let some rub off on me
Deserve my sincere thanks.
I once more glow contentedly.
