Get Rid Of The Advertisements

When the Love is Gone

There was a shining in the night
As we wept together side by side,
Knowing in the darkness...
That this was not to be.

Still, we kept on kissing
Our soft and lonely kisses,
Hoping the crackling thunder
Would come...once again.

Instead, the lightning flashes
About the room
And beneath the sheets...
Now...growing cold.

Our two hands touching
Soaked in sadness,
Their sensors screaming...
With alarm.
