for the love of poetry


if you please, sweeping, breezing poetry, exquisitely and sweetly as it streams

ever gently underneath the brawny boughs of alder or a winsome willow weaves

for there is a time for every season searching loyalty and good, He wisely oversees

trickling, sifting, very slowly down water spouts or off of gable peaks and from eaves


from lullabies, conductors of a ballet brush up next to lavenders and purple pozy

blending thoughts by light of hearth of home or from neighbour's country cottage cozy

hush-a-bys like hide-a-ways, life still warms from the cold children's cheeks a-rosey

dripping tiny droplets into their dreams, soft are drifting scenes embracing dozy


O mighty bards, ladies of beauty inward, a scenic rainy day and picturesque bouquet

of a child running free in flora fields or 'pon the aisle scatters petals, for a bride's walkway

misted light streams and prism rainbow bright, little flower children play

where grownups plant new slips of rhythmic poetic sentiments ... on shores of
