I love the daffodils they are my sun|
I love them each and everyone,
I love the way they sway in the breeze
With such beautiful flowing ease.
They are the happiness that brightens the day
Elegance of mother nature what more can I say,
Her beauty and class show no bounds
Her whispering voice is unique in sounds.
On table in garden or vase of glass
The daffodil shows off her class,
A glorious temptation one cannot refuse
To write of this spring queen of the muse.
When spring is in the air birds sing so sweet
Buds spread forth and open what a colourful treat,
Mother earth is a rainbow of colours
A new spring of birth like no others.
New life new energy peaceful embrace
Radiant spring for the human race,
What elation, love, oh! Such joy
To see the smiles of a baby girl or boy.
For if sadness of old can bring new life
Then it brings happiness not strife,
Like the daffodils need water and sun
We need peace serenity and fun.
