Get Rid Of The Advertisements

A Child's Touch

If you let your child touch you
With her smile as she plays,
There will be no need for sighing
And wishing for olden days.

Come closer to your child
Get to know her gently ways.
Her ways are simple,
Feel their sweetness, now, today.

Her precious butterfly kisses
That wake you early in the morn,
Will bring a smile to your face
And have you thanking god that she was born.

Best to let your child be your guide
In the darkest moments of your life.
Your heart will open and be revived
On your journey through the night.

So now’s the time to drop those shoulds
And cannot dos,
While running freely in the wind.

You’ll smile in the rain again
And revel in surprise,
That when you let your child touch your heart
She hugs your soul outright.
