REJOICE!

REJOICE

Spring, sing sweetly to me
With lifted voice
In perfect noise
Of new and splendid verse.
Let your spirit fill me.
Let me rejoice
And dance within your muse,
My soul immersed.
Oh Spring, how I have
Missed your youthful glee,
Teasing nature with
Your timeless humor,
Flirting with trees and birds,
So wickedly playing games
With cool wind and warm laughter.
Let me taste of rain
And your honeyed skies,
Drinking deeply of faith,
Thirsting no more.
And let the scent of life
Within me rise much highe
Than ever before.
Spring, just sing sweetly now,
With lifted voice....
And let your spirit fill me.
Let me rejoice!
