Get Rid Of The Advertisements

OBLIVIOUS

I laid on my bed in the darkness of my room
In my solitude I could see figures on the door,
If I stared long enough with my imagination
They would appear as a family of two or three

Or maybe four.

On my window sill by the little square
Windows I would stand,
Staring out of the open window into space
Where a concrete bunker stood,

Where I had planned to land.

I thought about this for quite a while
But there was a gap between the bunker and me,
I didn't really have any fear
Because you see I was only

Two or three.

Something distracted me
And I climbed back on my bed,
Was it the people on the door
That had put these thoughts,

Inside my head?

I must have fallen asleep
But the memories are clear,
All those years so long ago
When I could have jumped

Into oblivious sphere.
