Get Rid Of The Advertisements

A Quilt (Deux)

Hark, darkened skies,

Yet, '...we(e),...' still hope

For, though democracy's thread's bare,

The people, needle, dull,

The thimble, our common humanity,

Will bear us through before the end,

Bringing us together in time to mend

The whole of life's fabric.
