Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Call It Home

I miss dragons, jesters and knights.
The back booth doesn’t feel the same –
it seems like they’ve turned down some lights,
back where everyone knew your name.

From Michael “BronzeDragon” we learned
how to write new forms week to week.
If strange meter and rhyme you yearned,
well, he was the one you would seek.

Jester – Bubby, the funny man
got us with the twists of his phrase
With silliness part of his plan
we’d ponder his meaning for days.

OTS’s ease with a pen –
tales of knights and their daring feats,
would win him the challenge again.
There, William, another you’d meet.

Sir Albert, a victor for all
built this place for us to roam.
The rich mem’ries in Starlite’s halls,
is why all of us call it home.
