Roses And Violets
A little bunch of violets
I picked for my Mama today.
She loved the violets and the roses
All tied up in a bouquet.

The grass is velvet green
Out here where my Mama is.
And 'tho I can no longer hug her,
I can blow her a sweet kiss.

I can talk to her, tell her I love her,
I can tell her I miss her so.
I know my Mama hears me.
My heart just knows.

Daddy says she's way up in Heaven,
She's smiling down, she won't forget,
That I always bring her roses
And violets...
