My Little Country Girl
She Likes Country
Nothing else will do
That cowboy songs
and that twang in the guitar

all that she loves is a country boy
Like me for life or two
Because I like to sing along to the country music
Just like she does all the night through

during the summer nights and the campfire lights
when Harry is strumming his Guitar
under the light of the moon
He won't be happy till

his last song is sung through
And you know his Guitar is out of tune
but no one minds
because their too drunk to see

that the songs are old and he sings off key
But the party is going well into the night
working out fine underneath the moonlight
Where there are some guys kissing on some girls

as they make merry in this world
there joyful love shines bright
In the middle of the night
Most people having a hard time

remembering the words
To the old folk songs
But that's ok because the guitar
Is out of tune any old way

there with Amy Jenny and Louise
who sang but could not hold a tune
Trying to sing since the middle of June
but they liked doing what they like

Running the songs into the ground
until the sounds could not be found
That was Amy Jenny and Louise
I love to here them sing under these circomstances
