Get Rid Of The Advertisements

BURNING FIRE

She stood alone within the room...
Her mem'ries strewn about,
And did not notice nor proclaim
Those things that made her shout.

She played the game of loneliness
As though it were her throne,
And everywhere her feet a-lit
She wished...she could call home.

With vacant eyes and empty dreams
She pushed the world away,
And spurned the day that she was born
With nothing left to say.

The veil of lies she held so tight
Was filled up to its brim,
And things she needed, left behind...
Were vanished with a whim.

Now what remains to be revealed,
Is all her heart desires.
But somewhere in that vacant room...
There leaps a burning fire!
