Worm On A Log

The little worm grew weary
He so longed to just get dry
2 days and nights he stayed afloat
On a big log which passed by

The flood waters rose so swiftly
He had not much time to think
If he didn't act fast he would surely sink

So on the log he stayed
Full well knowing he must sustain
As thoughts raced through his mind
If I only had sunshine in the rain
