The Essence

God's love for all mankind.

''You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment laid out before a single day had passed.''
Psalm 139:16

The Essence

;
While on a stroll
upon the grassy roll
of hills
here and there
somewhere
back then
I'd visit lives inside
pretty cottages
all nestled in...
and I
wondered then
...as I do now...
How do
they live
thier life
inside,
while
they are
hid behind
those
windows
all aglow?

I had watched for this gentle place
along paths, worn trails and divided roads
from as far back, as I can remember.
Stopping now and then, I'd ask...
'Could this be that place of splendor?'
A Great White spread magnificent wings
so close by here, near the ruddy banks and shore.
A rainbow of pristine rays permeated through green leaves
and happy voices spread soothing songs and graceful wings and chatter.
O'er grassy rolling hills, where shade trees dotted this picturesque landscape,
I arose in my search to find where and if it was there, tucked behind another slope,
beyond my view, yet here where He knew me yesterday, today, tomorrow and always...
Just then, 'twas the sound of wings ascending from by the water's edge!
A dove flew past and from where I stood, I think that perhaps
'tis now mingling with blackbirds and after their own kind,
feasting on seeds I left for them all, just yesterday.
Yes, I remember grassy rolling hills, cottages,
shady trees dotting the landscape and
homes scattered here and there
that were
wrapped in
'The Essence'
...with longing for all...
......fulfilled...unending......

Some say 'tis simply déjà vu!'
... Even so You knew... my curiosity was stirred and here it is again aroused...
I'm pondering these memories far under in the depth of where they're housed
I'm just supposin' as I'm posing this inquiry to You
Is this what has been tucked away? A reoccurrance of a glimpse that I once knew?
