Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Chasing Lightning Bugs

Have you ever run around
The back yard in the dark
Chasing lightning bugs
That looked like little sparks
Very carefully
Put them in a jar
We didn't want them
To go very far
Lighting the way
For the children to see
After some fun
We would again set them free
We used to do this
With our children four
But alas, they're all grown
Now we don't anymore
Today when I see
A lightning bug fly
I think of my children
Water drips from my eye
