Sonnet- XXIX

My lone alliance to thy slumber heart
Perchance it was not meant to be in twine,
When thou hast doubt: an argument would start?
Intention hath to suffer (part of mine)
Thou knowest all mine effort and request—
Amongst the pages of acquaintance past,
Forgiveness is at stake thro’out my quest,
It justifies the mood without thy trust.
But if the summer sits upon its ray—
It bends towards in myriad appeals,
In mid repos’d; from thy behavior gray—
The kindness of her being it reveals.
From past mistake conclusion was undone,
In love's neglect acceptance to the one.
