Get Rid Of The Advertisements

True And Faithful Friend

When I start to get discouraged and life tries to get me down,
when it seems like things will never go right again.
I close my eyes and drift off to a place not far away
where I know I'll find a true and faithful friend.

I can talk to Him for hours about what's been on my mind,
He listens to each and every word I say.
It won't take long for me to feel the hope He puts inside,
and the peace I need to face another day.

I would like to introduce you to this friend who's always there,
He's Jesus, and He died to set us free.
I hate to think what life would be without Him by my side,
But by my side He's promised He will always be.
