The Buzz

Itís June! The grass is green again,
The breeze is warm: it spreads the news.
the buzz is in, its summertime,
It blossoms forth in nature's hues.
Beneath red maples finches crowd,
at rest among the marigold,
their multi coloured camouflage,
All this and more a story told.
What bright new colours will be seen,
as sunshine fills the sky above,
Will butterflies and bees rejoice,
in chorus with the mourning dove,
when lilac scents waft through the air.
and roses cloaked in yellow coats,
stand tall beside the pink sweet pea,
as nature hums Juneís trademark notes.
