Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Am I already
All I am meant to be?
Must I hang up my hat
And go quietly?

It seemed I was on my way,
Daily adding building blocks
Acquired, as we do,
In the school of hard knocks.

Then, I was offered
More and more senior discounts.
I wondered, did I qualify
For savings of such amounts?

While being thus reminded
Of years already lived,
I felt a depressing doubt
Over what I could still give.

Okay, so I might be
A little past my prime.
But, Iíll race my walker
Against yours, any time.
