MOMMAY PRAYED

MOMMY PRAYED

Near the end of World war 11,
I was born in Nineteen Forty Two.
My dad worked for T.C.I.
It relieved him to hear my cry.
He rushed mom to the hospital
in his Model T.
Immediately, she gave birth to me.
The tire on the Model T
blew up in the lot!
Dad`s blood pressure rose
and he was hot!
Momma prayed.

Doctors told mommy
I had polio at age four.
They did all they could,
mommy prayed as before.
From thousands or victims,
I was completely whole.
Thank God, He is in control!
Momma prayed.

Nineteen Eighty Five,
my wife ask for divorce.
My life was heading
in the wrong course.
I remembered Mommy praying for me.
I prayed, 'God please hear my plea.'
God heard me and gave me peace.
I felt His love in me increase.
From a broken heart, I began to write.
With God`s inspiration, I receive insight.
Now, poetry is the love of my life.
Hopefully, God will give me
a new wife.
Momma prayed.
