Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Sweet Summer's Day

The grass is green in the valley now.
My meadow polka-dotted with flowers.
I often stroll past the split-rail fence,
To climb up into the Elm that towers.

Clouds in the sky keep moving on.
And I can imagine all sorts of things.
I'm warmed by the golden sun's rays .
One of the joys a summer day brings.

I'll sit here awhile 'till the sun goes down
Just enjoying all of summer's delights.
To watch in awe the vast painted sky.
Sunsets I've enjoyed so many nights.

no frills
