Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Autumn's Fireside
I love to wander through the woods
Through Autumn's open gate.
To rest beside the rushing stream
Where fields of Lupine decorate.

To linger there amid the leaves
Of gold and sage and burgundy.
And finally at the twilight hour
Watch the sun retreat gracefully.

That vivid carpet all along the trail
Painted leaves beneath my feet.
Leads me past the split-rail fence,
Alive with radiant bittersweet.

And as I round the bend for home
Moonbeams illuminate my stride.
I've enjoyed the many wonders
Of Autumn's fireside...
