Cherishing My Memories

Thinking hard on memories in the past
Just a few bad, but good ones I want to last
Like the day I married my first true love
Then the sad day he went home to the Father above
Many years we shared, many memories made
But that chapter has ended and God turned the page
The day each one of our four children were born
The day they left home my heart was so torn
But now they've increased in numbers for me
By bringing grandchildren to the family
Then the day the Lord sent me love again
We chose a day and I married my new best friend
The memories for us are still in the making
To make them last, lots of time we are taking
Cherishing my memories of days gone by
Making new ones, my true love and I
