Get Rid Of The Advertisements

TIME

From a happily married woman
A young mother of four
To a woman all alone crying
Sitting in the middle of the floor

The children have all grown and gone
Now raising children of their own
The love of my life passed on before me
Now I'm left here all alone

I said a prayer to God above
Please help me make it thru another day
He took my hand and held me close
'Don't worry, I will make things ok'.

Months have passed, they turned into years
Then I heard God whisper in my ear
'The time has come for you to live again
It's time for those tears to disappear.'

He gave me eyes for a widowed man
With a love that filled my heart
Our lives are changing day by day
For each morning we get a new start

I don't pray for life longevity
I don't pray for what we can't do
Every morning when I wake up and pray
I thank the Lord that I have you
