Get Rid Of The Advertisements

The Lonely Highway

You are the one that walked away
Missing out on the best of me
I tried hard to get you to stay
But I never could get you to believe

I'm everything you wanted me to be
Even though I'm still going away
I won't be gone forever you see
I might come home someday

Everything reminds me of you
That's the reason I must flee
I'm a rambler through and through
It's the lonely highway I seek

You wouldn't travel the road with me
So I'll make this journey alone
My heart will always beat for you
The freeway will be my home

If you find yourself sad and blue
And you catch yourself all alone
Just remember I'm waiting for you
On this lonely highway that I call home
