Get Rid Of The Advertisements

I Won't Settle for Anyone

The porch light shines bright
As the dark clouds rule the sky
With no stars glowing tonight
Just the distant flicker of city lights

I wish you were here sitting with me
Holding hands under this dusky night
Only you can make my heart sing
And the feeling of loving chills inside

I won't settle for just anyone
While a nearby train wails
I know it's you that I love
Forever never seems to prevail

A red light flashes from a tower
A lonely blinking in the dark sky
Beside me a vase full of flowers
You never received wither and die

I wish they could live forever
But neither will you or I
Any day can easily turn to never
And the sight will leave our eyes

But I still won't settle for just anyone
As my heart beats into the night
It's always been you I love
Come to me before I lose my sight
