Get Rid Of The Advertisements

A Traitor and a Patriot

I used to listen to the radio
They're not listening to me anymore
They talk too much but that's okay
I don't believe a single word they say

Piss and moan about the immigrants
Don't say nothing about the president
A democracy don't work that way
I can say anything I want to say

People tell me that I'm paranoid
I admit I'm getting pretty nervous, boy
It just gets tougher everyday
To sit and watch it all slip away

I've been called a traitor and a patriot
Call me anything you want to but
Just don't forget your history
Millions died so we could all be free

Guns are flooding our streets today
Congress won't do a flipping thing
Big dollar donors write the bills
They just ignore all the blood that spills

I used to watch the television
Adversaries hack our elections
Nothing being done about it anyway
I'm not rich enough to pay to play

I've been called a traitor and a patriot
Call me anything you want to but
Just don't forget your history
Soldiers died so we could all be free
