Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Old flames always flicker, never quite to die.
Yield not to temptation if you should meet one by & by.
A mate, so great of late will know if you did date
and sparks could be ignited, changing love to hate.

Association with a mate from your forgotten past
might re-ignite a flame you once thought would never last.
Intentions of the most devout to be no more than friends
may slip in close proximity, re-arranging how it ends.

A mate is better not reminded they were not the first.
Jealousy, the dampened flame, now dry, about to burst.
Be thoughtful, be wise and insightful from the very start
and you won’t find yourself the cause of two broken hearts.
