Get Rid Of The Advertisements

BUT, THEN --

and, if the hills were forested
there might be logs of some size
That, stacked, would make cabin walls
Beneath these blue mountain skies.

and, if, long ago a seed
Had begun a mighty Oak,
Furniture might grace those rooms
In styles the Oak did evoke.

and, if I found some mighty Spruce,
That could provide nice firewood
I might cut and split a few.
And, I probably could.

But, then, if I looked ahead,
Reconsidering my duty,
I might leave the forest untouched
So others can enjoy the beauty.
